THE UNIVERSITY OF MEMPHIS POLICY MANUAL
SUBJECT: Admission to University Activities
POLICY NO.: 1:2E:13:01 DATE: August 31, 1989
SUPERSEDES POLICY NO.: 1:2E:13:01 DATED: April 2, 1979
University activities are financed and administered primarily for
the education and enjoyment of members of the university community.
Priority for attendance to events held on campus that have a
minimal admission cost (or no cost at all) should, of course, be
granted to students, faculty, and staff. There are, however,
activities held on campus which lend themselves to the issuance of
invitations to individual guests and/or to the general
public.
Guidelines and procedures governing admission to non-classroom
activities scheduled on campus will be developed and administered
by the Office of the Vice Provost for Student Educational Services,
and operationally directed by the Associate Dean for Student Life.
