    1.  Fire evacuation procedures are posted throughout the
        building.
        
    2.  Fire extinguishers are located in various places in the
        halls.
        
    3.  Fire alarm systems are located in each hall.
    
Periodic fire drills will be held in each hall.  Turning in false
fire alarms or tampering with fire extinguishers without due
cause is a violation of a city ordinance and will result in
disciplinary action.  Smoking is prohibited in elevators of
residence halls.  Residents may smoke in rooms, but smoking in bed
is prohibited by a city ordinance.
