| Policy Statement | The University's annual commencement comprises three convocations: spring (May), summer (August), and winter (December). At least one-fourth of all full-time faculty members in each department are expected to participate in the spring and winter convocations. In the summer, one-fourth of the faculty who teach in the second term, plus the chair or a designee, are to participate.
Selection of faculty for participation in convocations is the responsibility of the department chair. Marshals for commencement are to be appointed by the college dean. |
