Policy Statement


 

In order to provide comfortable and convenient accommodations for University guests, a limited number of rooms in Richardson Towers and apartments at Student Family Housing have been designed as guest facilities. 

All University departments may request access to these spaces for a consultant, speaker, potential employee, auditor, member of the legislature, member of boards control, officer of another state institution of higher learning or other distinguished individual who, in the opinion of the Assistant Dean of Residence Life and Dining Services or designee, qualifies as a University guest.

Residence Hall Rooms for Official University Guests

The following guidelines are established as procedures for administering a program whereby rooms in residence halls are made available for official University guests.

  1. Reservation and fee collection for these spaces are the responsibility of the Assistant Director for Conference Housing.
  2. These facilities are not available to students.
  3. Registration and billing procedures is the responsibility of the Assistant Director of Conference Housing.

Forms are available by request from The Department of Residence Life and Dining Services.
